- High Definition 720p resolution.
- Motion activated On/Off. Exactly ten minutes after the last registered movement the camera will power off.
- Dual capture buttons for left or right hand use.
- One-touch 5-position electronic focus for macro to infinite viewing with OSD.
- USB 3.0 connector that fits standard delivery units. ( This connector requires a USB 3.0 port in order for the camera to function. )
- The Iris HD 3.0 camera no longer uses the Net Service for capture. Some of the first shipments of the camera use a service called HD Gameport Service. Recent shipments of the camera utilize part of the video driver for the capture function. There must be a live video image for the capture buttons to send a signal.
- There is no need to use a powered hub with this HD camera, as the USB3 provides more than enough power for the camera.
- Download the latest Iris 3.0 camera driver from https://digi-doc.com/iris-hd-camera-installer/
- Once downloaded to local PC, save a copy of the driver to a shared location on the server for use installing or updating other workstations. (example save path: \\servername\data\ )

- Follow the prompts for installation: Be sure that ALL windows are closed before installing, otherwise you will be prompted to close them.
- Click Next .

- Click I accept the agreement .
- Click Next .

- Leave the installation path as default. Click Next .
- Click Yes to create the folder.


- Leave as the default. Click Next .
- Click Install .

Click Finish .

- Connect the device to a USB port .
- It is recommended the device be connected to a port on the BACK of the pc and not a front USB port.
- Windows should automatically install the Iris HD Camera once connected to the PC.
